Trollhunters: Animated Netflix Series

I think it was created by Guillermo del Toro, so that could be a big reason why it might be good.

I plan on checking it out, but I'm not too amped about it as I'm not a big fan of Dreamworks animated stuff (some exceptions, but usually the visuals just seem wonky in a way that's a turnoff).
 
Trollhunters is a solid cartoon. I thought it was way better than the new voltron. The character development is pretty good. The voice acting is also top notch with Kelsey Grammer. I feel like kids are so so with Troll Hunters but adults are loving it.

Hoping Voltron season 2 is stellar to make up for the first 6/10 season.

I hated the reboot of Voltron.. I'm not sure what I was expecting from it as it's not too far from the original series. If anything I keep wondering if I had expectations that the show would become more adult as I had grown up so why not my fav cartoon from my childhood? I didn't actively think that, but it's possible it was in the back of my mind.

As for Trollhunters. I love del Toro. I think he creates stuff I like to look at even when the story isn't so good. He reminds me of a more adult leaning Jim Henson as he creates creatures that are quite imaginative.
 
I have watched a few episodes (4-5 i think) and its enjoyable. I know its a kids show but i still get tired of the Hero who wont kill anything cliche.... even while its mildly annoying i still and enjoying it. Hopefully it gets picked up for another season.
 
i binged watched it over the holidays I thought it was really really good, can't wait for next season. 25 episodes was a nice surprise, great story, great voice acting. It kept my attention.

Loved the gnomes. lol

it did have stunning detail, not sure how many hours all 25 episodes took to animate but im sure it was a lot.
