My friend got trolled out of 200 bucks... she had purchase some stuff off craig's list and the guy is within the state, 3 hours driving time.. and he even offer us to drop by and visit him. The only prob is i dont know if the address is real or not. He's sending email via hotmail but original ip is rr.com. What are the chance to contacting the RR people for his address or what can you legally get out of RR in term of his info ?

You probably can't get anything. Would you want your ISP giving out your info to anyone who asks? It probably requires at minimum an official requesting it if not that plus a court order. I say probably because you never know what social engineering can get you.

I use my broadband provider to access my hotmail like many others for what it's worth forcesho.

$200 should be adequate to file a police report. see what can be done. they may be able to have influence on roadrunner's release of the guy who is conning her.
