In this thread. LOUISSSSS contributes nothing but inflammatory language and immaturity. Please take a look and determine if he deserves a warning/vacation/ban.

Thanks!

Locked because the conversation was becoming redundant.

This is his basic MO.

Using FT; we do not have the ability to restrict user access from a given forum.

He also has his rights to state his opinions.

In the future; hopefully he will not be performing actions that seem trolling.

Mods, I may have proof which exonerates LOUISSSSS. I received a PM from someone which alludes to this.

The only thing which would exonerate Louie is if someone hi-jacked his account. I certainly hope his "defense" isn't that other members weren't appreciative of his crap.

But you couldn't figure out how to PM the Mod account?

Prior to LOUISSSSS getting banned I didn't think it was a big deal. I made note of the PM in the thread in question, however, it did not seem serious enough to bother the mods about it.

In light of LOUISSSSS's ban, I will PM the mod account about it. It's not directly related to the thread where he was banned, however I feel that it does show that the situation was not entirely his fault.

IMO he deserves a second chance.

Louie got his second chance when Common Courtesy warned him the first time in that thread. What someone says to you in a PM about a poster does not absolve someone else from their bad behavior. Louie barely made it a week from his last temp ban IIRC before CC's warning, he's a slow learner.

Well, I have PM'ed the message to the mods, and they can be the judge of what is fair. I agree that other people's actions do not absolve someone of their own responsibility, but I think that in this case we need to cut LOUISSSSS some slack. There are two sides to this story. There is a bunch of domestic car fanboys in the Garage forum, and I don't see their behavior as being much better than that of LOUISSSSS (and sometimes, as described by my PM, their behavior is far worse).

What does any of that have to do with Louie not heeding CC's warning?

He may never have been warned but for the fact that something happened.

It doesn't matter how or why a warning was made, the bottom line is he was warned and he ignored it. You and Louie appear to have much in common............

I've been warned many times to cut it out or else. Even if I thought I was in the right, the bottom line is that I like posting here so I let things be. Evidently Louie didn't really like posting here otherwise he'd have done the same.

Ok so according to Harvey, this situation is under review, and LOUISSSSS has not been banned. He will be back in about a week. :D

He received a warning and multiple PM exchanges happened between us ending with him stating he understood my concerns.

Such was noted in his track records.

Ignoring such immediately afterwards was a reason Mike vacationed him. I expect there may have been others.

Correct. He chose to ignore such warnings and I vacationed him as I would anyone else who failed to comply to warnings. As for the thread you pointed out, Sickbeast, it had nothing to do with his vacation.

Well, I am glad that I pointed out that he was being baited and harassed by other members here, and that it was planned and pre-meditated. TBH I find it frustrating when these people de-rail Garage threads by saying LOUISSSSS this or LOUISSSSS that. They bait him. He takes the bait every time as well. The whole thing is a charade that reminds me of the years when Rollo invaded the video forum, only in this case LOUISSSSS is really not that bad IMO.

Thank you mods for checking things out a bit. I'm actually surprised at myself for going to bat so much for LOUISSSSS; I guess I can only hope someone would do the same thing for me.

Starting a thread about enjoying a GTO is in no way "baiting" LOUISSSSS. No-one mentioned him until he thread-crapped. If anything, it was LOUISSSSS who was doing the baiting with his first post in that thread.

You can try putting LOUISSSSS up on a cross all you like, but you're not going to convince anyone here that he's some sort of martyr in either the thread referenced here, or in the thread referenced in your PM.
