Troll finally caught

Bah, the guy stole half a million, was adamant about it and even threw something at prosecutor and all he got was 6 years? Until they start prosecuting people that stole as much as $100 the problem won't go away.

Well, it thought it was one of the definitions of a troll. Hence, the troll hunters.

I think it's great that this guy got prison time. I think this should be stickied in FS/FT.

The costs to prosecute someone for $100 is way too high.

6 years doesn't seem like much, but he's spending the remainder of his youth (and then some) in prison and will likely be in debt for a good portion of his life to compensate the victims.

But then again, some people get sent to prison for 10-20 years for selling $1000 worth of drugs...

if the person is found guilty they have to pay the court costs. So you steal $100, and get fined $1500, plus another $500 in court fees. Sounds fair to me.

iirc, 'costs' doesn't cover it
