Wow, UCLA is 81. How can UCLA be worse than U. Alabama???

<chuckle> There are 79 other schools that UCLA is worse than as well.

Obviously. But I mean, how can the premier university of Los Angeles be ranked below so many colleges in the deep South?

I'll take a Bama skank over a LA skank any day of the week.

#13 and #46; I'm actually surprised that LSU is so much higher than UGA, given UGA actively advertised their sexual health services (free testing, free provision of condoms, etc.) to--in my opinion--a much greater degree.

Then again, us grad students don't get out much over here, so they could probably hand out fliers for free sex on campus, and we wouldn't find out about it for five years.

Damn, my school dropped off from 10 to 29. Time to be a bit more careful about Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo'ing.

Oh and Agaboogaboo, Purdue is only so high because of the lack of women. :p
Who says you need women? :Q ;)

Well, if you put it like that...

They probably aren't using the same criteria as last year.

The ranking is for sexual health resources of the university; the fact that there's a large gay scene in a nearby city doesn't have anything to do with it.

no not so much... but i wouldnt be surprised that a large part of it is just the quality of the student health center in general, which is one of if not the best in the nation IIRC

edit: but now that i think about it, i think BR has the highest HIV infection rate per capita in the nation... so :Q

I graduated from FAU, also went to UF for a few years. They say and I have experienced this, a lot of college chicks don't insist on condoms thinking pregnancy prevention is adequate.

While the chance of AIDS is probably pretty slim at most decent colleges, the chance of the multitude of other STD's is higher.

Can't say I always strapped up, but most of the time I did. If I ever thought a chick was risky I'd pass unless I was prepared.

I find it hilarious that people of ATOT get excited over some lame rankings by a condom company.

 Well gollllllie, you know us folks down here don' have much ta worry about when it comes ta sexual health. Datin' our sisters and cousins keeps us plenty healthy between our banjo sessions and tobacca spittin' contests.

Pick a category on why the premier university of Los Angeles is so far behind all those backwards schools from the south:
-- Sexual health awareness programs
-- Condom & contraception availability
-- HIV testing
-- Other Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) testing
-- Student health center hours of operation
-- Drop-in vs. appointment-based service
-- Navigability and usability of Web-based sexual health information
-- Anonymous advice / newspaper columns
-- Lecture outreach programs
-- Student peer groups
-- Sexual assault programs

Well, the bottom five schools are all in the South, save a stray PA school. Not surprising.
