Trobleshooting Dell d610 Laptop

Hi,

I have a Dell d610 Laptop with windows7 installed which was working fine till recently when my neighbor child spilled water on the keyboard. After this, whenever I press power button to boot, num lock key flashes continuously for 3 seconds & switches off without getting into BIOS.

So, I did a google search regarding this & came to know of faulty hardware such as RAM or harddisk. But even after removing those devices, it is repeating the same behavior.

Can anyone help me regarding the issue that is being faced by me. The hardware is perfectly fine with no wet surface.
