Triplehead2Go Help

Hello All,

I'm needing some help getting my triplehead2go hooked up to my new laptop.

I just got a new work laptop (HP Elitebook 820 G1) and tried hooking the triplehead2go up but it is only getting 2400x600 resolution for the 3 monitors.

I've downloaded/installed the latest TripleHead2Go and Intel 4400 chipset drivers to no success.

Anything else I should be checking on why it won't give me a better resolution option?

Have a look at this...

This video was created to share with everyone my eyefinity setup using the TripleHead2go Digital SE at 5760x1080. I wanted to share some issues I had while setting it up. I see most people are only able to get 2400X600 resolution. That could mean either your system does not do better than that or you have not install the TripleHead2Go correctly.

It would seem that your VGA cable is the chokepoint.

Only so much data can fit through a VGA cable, in terms of a hard limit on the total resolution.

Are you able to use a different interface besides VGA, perhaps something with more bandwidth that won't put a hard limit on the max resolution you can push through it?

It has VGA or DVI but my laptop only has a VGA port (no DVI).

The thing is, when I had my old laptop, I ran it the same exact way as I am and it had better resolution than 800x600 per monitor so I don't know what has changed because only the laptop has changed (still same VGA cable) which has a better generation GPU so that shouldn't be the limiting factor.
