Ok, guys...just went back and read the forums rules, and while it says not to post anything pornographic or relating to tobacco products, it didnt mention alcohol.

Therefore, everyone who's over 21:

Sam's in chicago, is currently stocking Puccino coffee liqueur at 1.99 for a 750 bottle. They say their price might go up to 2.99 shortly 🙂 It's good, like Kahlua, slightly nutty, nice finish.

Sorry, no case discount on that.

They also have a great triple sec for 4.40, for a one liter bottle. It's triple sec...cant really say anything else about it. It's good with orange juice, though you might want to strengthen it with a little vodka.

Am assuming it does have some real coffee in it, and not just flavor. It's an italian import, and looks reasonably classy (tastes it, too).

I would probably have thought i was getting my money's worth if i'd paid about 15-20 for a bottle, so you can imagine the load the car was struggling under after i saw that price. Enjoy.

Incidentally, i dont think they have this posted on their web site, but i know they do deliver. You could call the number on their site, then call the non toll-free number the answering machine gives you, and then talk to a person at the store about shipping something out to you if you're buying more than a bottle's worth.

Just a thought for all those unfortunate to be out of chicago at this happily drunken time.

Yep...i meant Sam's wines and liquor store, not sam's club.

The actual store is on north and clyborn, chicago. Their site, though, doesnt have the stuff listed...i'd recommend going in person if you can.

Otherwise, you could try calling them and asking if they can ship you some...good luck with that.

As this thread hasnt been locked yet, i presume i can continue posting deals for Atech alcoholics?

You guys give up too easily...have to put more energy into your alcohol acquisition.

The guys at the store were willing to ship it to me, and i live in Hyde Park. I also know they ship from their web site. So, putting two and two together, i'm assuming they can ship anything to you, but just havent advertised the triple sec (4.40/L) and the coffee liqueur (1.99/750mL) on their site.

Come on, people, i'll make this easier for you...here's the store number:

Ahh... I love the direction this is going. We definitly need more hot deals for alcholics. Sure I've been paying $65 for 80 gig 8mb HDs, but what about 26.00 for a liter of tanqueray. If anyone else knows of any good places that ship feel free to post it here-
 
Another great place to buy alcohol is at Duty Free Shops in airports with international flights. The tax savings can be significant, and you never have to wait for a sale.
 

Nah...saving a little at duty free is nothing compared to what you can save if you keep an eye out for deals like sam's, or other closeout specials, things like that.

Duty free can save you a couple of bucks off regular retail, but you can usually find better deals than that at most sales, and if you really watch places like sam's, you can REALLY find some deals when they get pissed at particular labels.

I used to work at a fine wine store...trust me on this. There's nothing better than a large liqueur store getting pissed at an agent, or at a brand name, and deciding to close out their remaining stock.

Am reaping the benefits as we speak, and i have yet to find a duty free shop that sells imported italian coffee liqueur for 1.99 plus tax 🙂

shipping on a case of 750ml bottles......$25 for UPS....$60 for Fed-Ex 2 day.


Bummer.....now it's $4 per bottle....I can get the stuff in WA store for about same.... oh well. 🙁

I'd have to agree with this for a lotta stuff...you still gotta pick and choose amongst the discounts but Stoli Liters and Stoli flavored 750ml bottles were uber-cheap...Stoli Ohranj ran about $8.xx a bottle after converting to USD and I think the 1 liter non-flavored ran about the same(might have been slightly more-like $9 or something) but it was definitely cheaper per liter.

Grey Goose was hella ripped off as ever there. And yes, I was looking through the Vodka section in case you hadn't figured by now =P

Still, nothing really beats $2 liqueur does it? =P

though i wouldnt put sams Club down because they do have some great prices .

like $35 for cabo wabo usally sells for $55

the list can go on for ever with the items they have , but the bad thing is that each sam's has different items sorta

heh, I guess you can't find deals like that at Kimbark Liquors, huh? too bad I don't still live in Chicago, I'd be all over this. Sam's Wines and Spirits is great though, especially if you combine it with a Hot Deal at the Best Buy next door!
