ok, first of all, i did a search but this is the only thread i found that's related::

i don't have an AIW, so i don't know how much it really matters... i assume it's a similar situation...

would i need to change anything in the bios?

so here's the story:
i got a dual setup running on ati 9600 pro... got an extra crt lying around and an extra pci slot to fill...
can i throw in a pci video card and get a triple monitor setup going?

(thinking of something really cheap, but would the amount of memory matter if i got something like an ati 7000?)

thanks for any help~

Does mixing videocard companies matter?

and how much would that card that you recommend cost?
I"m not looking to spend too much~

No it won't matter with Matrox but I have had some probs combining NVidia with ATI ...others have reported success however.
You cold post a WTB thread @ the FS/FT Forums and get 1 for under $20US I would think + I have seen them on line for around that price...Google search would be 1 nother thought

Or just get two cards, one agp and one pci

Parhelia is the way to go...

Check your wallet 1st to see if you can afford to lose your current Graphics card and shell out $350US then loose some performance in 3D compared with your 9600

does having a really crappy pci card matter?
like is it gonna be a bad display?

i was thinking about an ati 7000 or nvidia geforce2 ~

just wondering if ati in agp and nvidia in pci are gonna conflict or something...

are tnt2's for pci still around?

i won't be playing games on the monitor that's hooked up to it...

I have a matrox G450 PCI that I could sell you for $40 shipped that way if you ever want to you could go quad monitor Muhahahaha

shouldn't be a problem but alot of times two ati's won't play nice with one another. for my 3 monitor setup i've always used a matrox its what thier good at
