Right now I have a 24" and a 19" running off a 7900gt and I am thinking about adding another 24". There is no way to run more than two monitors from my 7900gt correct?

I have an old 6600gt that I could plug into my second PCIE x16 slot but that would restrict air flow to my overclocked 7900. Is there anything wrong with just getting an old PCI video card and running the 19" off that one, or if I add another video card should it go into the other PCIE x16 slot?

You can get a hardware triple-head setup, but that won't support the high enough resolutions. If you got a cheap second card, you could set up a software triple-head [I forget what the software is called, its free... Google it] and have your 7900 do all the rendering work and have your second [cheap] card output to the third monitor, and let the triple-head manage the desktop.

Ill be using Ultramon to control all the monitors. Im already planing on using a second cheaper card, but will I be ok using a PCI card and not using one in the PCIE x16 slot? Id actually prefer using my 6600gt, but Im afraid my 7900gt may get too hot, Ill be blocking the slot fan with the 6600gt.
