Triple Booting on a Mac using multiple drives

Have a 2008 MacBook Unibody I've put an SSD and second hard drive in. So here's what I want to do. I'm going to split the SSD into two partitions with Linux Mint and OS X on it. Then have the hard drive to run Windows 7, and storage.

Right now I've got OS X and Windows on the HDD. I'm waiting for Mavericks to come out, then I'll do a clean upgrade. In the mean time I've having trouble getting Mint to boot. Installed ReFit but apparently it won't play nice with multiple drives. It only picks up the OS X and Windows but doesn't seem to be detecting Linux on the SSD. Nor does Apple's default bootloader. Though it does show up in the Disk Utility so it's not as if it's not seeing the drive. I'm not using GRUB.

Anybody got their Mac to triple boot across multiple drives?

Also, I feel like I always have the weirdest questions that nobody has the answer to.

I've had the same problem, ended up running Linux under VM. This would be helpful for me as well.
