and have little desire to. I guess I've finally reach that point.

heheh...I've reached that point a couple of times in my life already. Maybe 3 times but I think just 2. I came awfully close a few months ago to a definite 3rd time, but since it was only a month, I don't count it.

I have a 6950 2GB and recent 2500k / 8GB build, and I'm pretty much the same way at present. I think in my case it's just that I'm not excited by any currently released games though. Skyrim, BF3, Diablo 3, etc will likely change that though.

Deus Ex is out and reviews are good.

I have the opposite problem - 20+ games in the unplayed stack that I want to play, and no army of clones to have my fun for me and help me catch up.

It's been exactly the opposite for me. i got Triple 24" 3D Vision Surround (5760x1080 in S3D) GTX 580 SLI set and all i have done is game for the past 5 months - i played 6 new games from start to finish and revisited nearly 100 games.
. . . Before that, i maybe finished a game or two in a year.

Switch vendors perhaps?
:whiste:

J/K'ing; i got a 3D Vision evaluation coming up soon

I do that all the time! Play games every day for 3 month, and quite for another 3 month. Rinse and repeat.

There's nothing that says you need to game continuously, it's not a job you know ;)

I am there right now, though granted working full time kinda took it out of me....at least working crappy hours full time (12 to 9pm)...now that my work schedule is back to regular 9 to 6 hours...i can game in the evenings but dont really have any games im super psyched about, and all the kids in vent are back at college which means a shitty connection...

though I have been playing a lot of forza 3 lately.

@op: let me guess, you mainly play FPSs? (with that setup, its kinda obvious)
if you do, then your sentiment does not surprise me. FPSs have just been regurgitating the same shiz over and over again.

go out and buy a nice RPG, something that gets you involved, that makes you think, grips your soul and doesn't let go to the point where all you do all day is think about how to tweak your character. doesn't even have to be a new game, there are a lot of good games out there.

i haven't touched an FPS since playing HL2 3 years ago, aside from Borderlands because i like loot-whoring.
