I'm thinking of upgrading my old Sony monitor to a new one. I've heard good things about both companies. Just wanted a real perspective of actual people that use them.

well.. if its a viewsonic using a trinny tube.. there won't be much of a difference.

do a search for monitors, there be lotta info on this.
 
Trinitron is Sony's brand name for aperture grill CRT's. Some ViewSonic models also use aperture grill CRT's from Mitsubishi. Originally Mitsubishi licensed the aperture grill technology from Sony. From a company point of view, I suggest you call or e-mail both of them. This will give you a good idea of how that company will service you before, during and after your purchase.
