trimming goatee???? HELP!!

lol so spontaneously a couple weeks ago i decide to grow a goatee ... its all good until i start realising that its goin from smooth to like white-trash pretty quickly :Q

thing is im no expert (duh) and don't feel like goin all the way to the barber to trim it... umm... anyone care to elucidate plz?

buy a beard trimmer and use that. that's what i do.

I just use the longest of the four guides for the clippers I use to cut my hair. A decent set shouldn't run you any more than $20-40.

i got my trimmer for $20. bunch of attachments too. but it is a beard trimmer, not a hair trimmer, so it isn't very wide.

When I had my goatee, I kept it nice and short and simply used a decent pair of scissors (for cutting hair) and a comb. It usually took 5 minutes. My beard trimmer sometimes chewed the ends up badly.

Sure, have been for years. I have really thick hair so it doesn't look too goofy cut short. I just run the clippers with the longer guard all over my head and then switch to a shorter guard and trim the sides and back (I use a small mirror to do the back of my head and neck). Takes about 20 min and looks decent. I do a lot of cycling and I stay a lot cooler in the summer down here with my hair really short.

iamme... lol my bad! if it makes ya feel any better i don't grow much hair between mustache and chin either... its genetic... neither does my dad... neways a goatee afaik is just chin... the full thing like cashman's avatar is a 'van ***' iirc...

fausto nice! i have a friend who does that... like i actually thought you like cut it for real... i don't even think thats possible...
