Trim w/ Windows 7 SSD Raid0

I have 2 X-25m 80gb SSD installed on a ICH10R RAID 0 array w Vista Sp2. I was wondering if Windows 7 will pass the Trim conmand in a RAID 0 array on SSD?

I think the real issue is whether or not your raid controller will pass on the TRIM command.

In short, no. I don't believe any controllers will do this yet.

There is no TRIM support in RAID. Why because you need to install the Matrix storage controller driver to setup your raid on the ICH10R and these drivers don't pass the TRIM command to the drives yet, you have to use the MS AHCI drivers.

So its either you break apart the raid and get trim support on both drives or you wait until intel updates the drivers.
