is there a way that i can import my icq buddy list to the trillian icq client? it's a pain in the butt when i have to re-request authorization to add ppl again :disgust:

i didnt use it, but when i installed trillian, it asked me if i wanted to import my contact list from icq..

yeah, i sorta remember that too, but at the time, i didn't wanna do it. now since my icq has been being all funky and sh!t... i decided to try trillian, but i do not seem to be able to find an option that will allow me ot import my icq buddy list. crap!

I think if you set up the icq again the connection manager will give you the option.

If you go to add a regular icq or aim user, there is a button to "import" That should do it for ya...

Just do these steps:

1-Right click in contact list and select add
2-Check box to Import from an old List and click next
3-Browse to your ICQ directory and look for the folder marked Contact List.
4-Search for IDX or CLB files. Should be right there. Select the one you want and click next.
5- Done
