if you block somebody-- it just appears to them as if your not signed online... so no they do not know they are blocked. However if they switch screen names and see that you're online.. they'll probably figure it out pretty quick.
aim is not evil- and i really dont know what people have against it,... other than the fact it is made by AOL.
i dont know anybody that uses icq, yahoo, or msn, and doesnt also have AIM...
there isnt anything AIM doesn't do that i would like to see- other than possibly being able to recieve messages while your not online like the other messenger programs let you do.
