Stop the Azureus, then delete the file. Trillian has a good free version, just download that.

trillian-v3[1].1.exe
That's the pro version anyways, if you have a pro license than log into the Trillian site and download it from there otherwise be gone with you!

Sounds like something still has a file lock on it. You might try running task manager and making sure the azureus processes arent still running (dont forget java.exe).

If you still cant delete it try logging off and back on so all your user processes are killed.

Boot up in safe mode then. If you rebooted that should have worked, unless you set azureus to load up on startup.

The Pro version isn't free. The Basic version is. Anyways, if it's "free" as you say, why didn't you just download it from the Cerulean Studio's site?

The free version is great, anyways. Just reboot and go to the boot options, Safemode will be one of your options. It's pretty straight forward, just watch the screen.

the pro version is actually a bit more bloated, since it has a video/audio plugin to load. make sure azureus is off on startup, then try deleting it. if that doesn't work, if you didn't remove it from azureus, you can right click -> remove and delete both torrent and data.
