Definitely going to try this! Been looking for good IM apps, and apart from meebo(which is so so) I just haven't found anything good.

I'll try it out. I used to love Trillian...back in the 2003-2005 era, it was by far the best desktop client. However, it took them about 5 years to release Astra, after which they were easily passed by things like Digsby and Pidgin. Worth a shot though.

Same with ditching them...want to say I last used it around version 0.74 and then ended up going to gaim/pidgin.

I was all over this forum telling everyone how awesome Trillian was. This was back when Warez were huge and all the cool kids were doing it. I paid the money since it was such a great program and I figured I would use it the rest of my life.

Couple months later I couldn't log on because the life of my version was done.

heh, yeah, I used to push trillian all the time... but then I stopped using windows for a bit. adium was where it was at. then back to windows, and pidgin all the way. At this point, I did not want to have my login info saved w/ trillian and digsby's account.. just another extra layer.

I know its a beta but so far its lame. at least with ebuddy it stays in the notification. for you to quick switch between apps.

if I "exit" to load up something else, I have to go back to one of my home screens to load up trillian again. I quickly uninstalled it.
