Trillian is not blocked anymore. I use 2.0 pro and it got rid of the recent Yahoo and MSN "not compliant protocol" messages (thank God).
I use it as a straight up messenger and it's great for that purpose alone. Advantages over 1.0? Getting rid of those non compliant messages is well worth the upgrade.![]()

I love 2.0 Pro.
Full Unicode support, thank god. Now I can finally type correctly to friends in other character sets. I also like the MetaContact feature. Handy for when you have multiple media contacts for the same person.

Interesting.. been running it for three weeks now without problem.
Anyway, i have a problem with it where when I edit something in the preferences, and hit apply, I can no longer send messages (until I restart the client). I wish I could make those Online alerts somewhat transparent like the rest of the program so they are 'less' intrusive. I wish the emoticons were a little nicer and a few other things. I definatly like it better then 1.0 though.
As for RossMAN, the pop3 e-mail check is a plug-in (add-on) to Trillian Pro 1/2 (which you need to pay for). Once you register, you get an account on their site, which allows you to download more programs. The pop3 plugin lets you check 10 accounts (i think), and it shows the name of the account on the contact list and says the number of new messages beside the account name ie. RossMAN (4) RossMAN Sucks (3)... so-on.
When it checks, and theres new mail, it will also pop-up an alert saying how many new messages you have, in the same way MSN pops-up online alerts in the bottom right corner of the screen, and also plays a sound (this can be disabled too).
