For those who are too lazy to find out what's new in this latest release, there's a major change: SecureIM! It allows two users of Trillian who are on AIM or on ICQ to have encrypted conversations!
There is also a group chat ability now, plus shell extensions for file transfer (right-click on a file, transfer it.)

I would have to concur, Trillian rules, especially with the file transfer enabled.

It's a wonderful program, but for me the only thing making it less than perfect is the support for HTML in profiles.
