Bad Idea. It is very difficult to fall asleep immediatly after exercising. If you are going the exercise route to fall asleep, it needs to be done at least and hour or two before you plan on going to bed.
As others have said, warm rooms make it much harder to fall alseep. Open a window and cool the place down.
If you try to force yourself to go to bed earlier than normal, or if you arent tired, it probably end in fail. If you don't have a regular sleep schedule, gradually get yourself onto one.
Alcohol makes it much more difficult to sleep. (unless you drink so much you pass out, in which case you just get useless drunk sleep and will be hungover and just as tired the next day).
