Tried Search and couldn't find an answer to this LCD question

I am in the market for an LCD monitor. My price range is about $500. That makes it where I can't get a good 17inch LCD so I am looking at a good quality 15inch LCD.

I have read about the DVI connections. DVI-I and DVI-D. I have a geforce 2 ultra with a DVI-I connection. Is that compatible with an LCD if it has a DVI-D connection?

I definately want an LCD monitor with a DVI connection that is compatible with my geforce 2 ultra.

Actually I am having trouble finding a 15inch LCD that even has DVI connections.

So far all I have found is a Eizo L365.

Any suggestions for something in my price range with a DVI connection?

i don't own any lcd's so the only help i can provide is here

that said they may not answer the question but they do give a good review of the lcd's

Check out the new Viewsonic VX500+. I have its big brother, the VX900, and it is outstanding in everyway. It has both DVI and analog connectors.

I finally figured out that a DVI-D will work with a DVI-I connection.

I've got three of them (counting my notebook) and not a bad pixel anywhere. I have had three previous notebooks as well and no bad ones there either.

I believe you can get a good-quality 17'' Hyundai LCD for $525 shipped, just search Hot Deals. 25ns response time, one of the best AND it has a DVI input
