Tried one of those Bawls Guarana drinks..

I was ordering parts from frozen cpu and I noticed that they were selling those Bawls drinks. I only bought two, cause I wanted to see now they tasted.

Actually, they are't that bad. Very very tasty. It's a fruity taste, with a bit of fizz. Also, it's high caffeine! The drink has a warning level due to it's high caffeine. When I finished my drink, I was wired for at least 2-3 hrs. And I was dead tired, becuase of school and work.

So does anyone drink this stuff? The only one downside that I've noticed is the pricing. It cost about $30 for a full case. It's kinda expensive.
 
1 bawls = 2 cokes = 1.3 mountain dews (roughly, caffeinne wise). Not THAT extreme. However, the caffeinne from guarana is supposedly picked up by your system better than the caffeinne from cocoa.

$30/case = total ripoff. The grocery store by union square sells them for $0.99 a bottle.

Hey turin, I seriously doubt if I'll be able to find one in my home town. I live in a resort area, and the winter is fast approaching. Most of the shops are closing except for the Wawa's and supermarkets.

So I doubt that I'll find it. If I did though, would it be cheaper then buying online?

Hey glugglug..

Do you drink this stuff on a regular basis? If so, do you like the taste of it or have you found that it's not your style?

And yea, $30 + is a bit extreme for Bawls.
 
I love bawls, they taste so good. Nothing gets me started in the morning like some cold bawls.

But for the life of me I cant find a store that sells them here in new york city.
 
I tried a bottle before, and really didn't notice any effect...granted, Red Bull and most caffeine drinks don't do much to me anymore, probably because I drink so much pop.
 
I pick some up occasionally, it's not bad. I like the taste of Mountain Dew better though. The stickers peel off the bottles pretty well and make good cubicle/computer case labels.
 
Bah, a black cup of coffee will offer about 2x what that does for caffeine content, has basically zero calories, and can be brewed for 1/10 the price.

I think at one lan party I chugged 8 in less than 20 minutes. I was wired and not even tired when I was driving home 6 o clock, which was about 14 hours after I drank those. But after they wore out, holy sh!t was I tired. 😀
 
I agree, great stuff!!

Try drinking it warm and then another cold. Each one has a slightly different taste to it. Though overall I find it tastes like ginger ale mixed with a bit of white cream soda.

Now if it were just cheaper...
