Trident XP4 review: disappointing:(

ExtremeTech's got the scoop. It seems awful disappointing, but I would've liked to see it compared to the GF4MX, Radeon 7500 and also some real life gaming benchmarks would've been nice too, but In any case, its clear that it is not the great card that Trident was saying it would be.

Also the longer it takes to hit the stores the slower it will become, plus when you look at what ATI and Nvidia have to offer right now in the budget sector it does not look good for Trident.

that's the funniest review i've read in ages.

Not to mention the interview with Trident's CEO a while back.

If they could base a sitcom on this video card, they'd make some REAL money!!

Agreed, it should not have been compared to the Radeon 9000 series or a Ti4200.

Mind you, judging by the numbers it does seem it will be slower than the Geforce 4MX as well. Well I hope a Geforce 4MX isn't that slow anyway, since I've just purchased a dual DVI Geforce 4MX.
