I'm looking for a temp card for very cheap and saw some Trident 4mg PCI cards for around $10 on eGay. Anyhow, i was wondering if these will be ok to use for dual monitor support once i get enough money to buy a good AGP card.
Thanks
Davi
ps ARE there any othe cheap PCI cards that'll do the trick?

Well how long are you planning to have a temp card for. If not that long you maybe as well get it but just to warn you trident cards really suck. If you planning to have the temp card for a while try looking in an cheap Ati or Matrox. Both of them have really good 2D quality.

LOL!! That's sad. Anyhow, i posted in General hardware that i just bought these 4 cards off of eGay.

Magitronic S3 Trio64V2/DX 2 MB
Trident 9680 2 MB
Trident 9680 1 MB
ATI 3D Rage Pro PCI 4 MB

They were in a lot of 4. Got them for like $22.50 shipped.

So the ATI 3D Rage Pro is ok? I figured i'd use the others for dual monitoring on my other pc's.
