After seeing many of us here fell into the deal and stuck with a $11.99 White Porcelain Clock, yet again cyberrebate.com starts another trick by offering extra $100 rebate back from a $83.99 "Brady Bunch Tin Tote" product.

It is now very suspicious if this cyber merchant intentionally try to lure people by giving fault information or it is just another typo error.

Buyers beware is my final word.

I didn't order the clock. In fact, I've never ordered from CyberRebates, so I think I have an unbiased view of them.

I can see how the clock rebate could be an error. They certainly handled the situation badly, especially considering the fact that they were charged with deceptive advertising by the NY state attorney general and paid a whopping $40 G fine while admitting no wrongdoing.

But, if they also change the rebate on this item, I say that shows a pattern. That pattern would be to advertise an outrageously overpriced item with a rebate that gives you cash back. After the order is placed, and shipped, the rebate is changed to reflect no cash back. That, in the very least, is deceptive advertising, the same charge they just paid that fine for.

The only question now is, who is willing to pay $84 for a lunchbox to see if they are indeed engaging in unlawful conduct?
