Please, borrowing from other music styles and sources has been an integral part of music since the first cavemen banged rocks together and clapped their hands.

If you don't think sampling is a legitimate form of music then you need to check out DJ Shadow, RJD2 and the Beastie Boys album Paul's Boutique.
