Tribes crashes out of nowhere...

Since sunday, I can't ever play tribes for more than a couple minutes without it crashing on me. And when it crashes, it happens out of nowhere. No error/warning messages pop up, no nothing, it just closes. Any idea why? I haven't installed any new hardware or anything. And the only software I've installed was the Media Player 7 Bonus Pack, could that be causing this? Sundy though, I did move my computer into another case. I don't see how that'd mess anything up though. Any ideas?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Go to the run menu and type in dxdiag.exe and see if you are having any problems with DirectX.

Youre going to want to recheck those cable/card seatings, I had a problem somewhat like this with tribes, It was my V2 not seated properly. If you still have problems, sometimes if youre running certain software in the background, tribes gets fickle, ala EGN. EGN used to be perfect for scanning, now it just crashes tribes. Strange how after some time certain programs do that. Also just a suggestion if youre running powerstrip, try disabling that.

The case is smaller and doesn't have as many fans (the first case had 3: one on cpu, power, and in the front. this one has two: one on cpu & power). But the case it was in before, the fan on the CPU had died on me (made a LOUD noise all weekend long then just stopped) and the case was pretty beaten up, so I switched to this one and put a new fan in. But yes, the case is smaller, but doesn't have any heating problems.
