This game is fucking retarded. I can't join any alliance because I only have 2500 points or so.....I'm getting ass fucked by someone with 5000 points....and I can't do anything. So basically a month of playing and the game's over for me. Who the fuck thought this ghey ass shit up?
 
It's much better when you're the attacker. Otherwise, you wind up like Ikariam, where you can't do anything permanent to an enemy city. They just destroy their ports, spend their gold, and wait until you get bored and leave. The risk is minimal. Ok, so maybe your army gets wiped out. That's fine, it also lowers your costs, and it doesn't take too awfully long to rebuild.
Wars become wars of attrition. If truly skilled players were to fight, it would just go on indefinitely.

In TW, I believe the proper description is, "You can seriously fuck shit up." Something like that.
Play Ikariam if you want a more friendly game, albeit one with some pretty massive soft-caps on buildings and empire expansion.

You're never going to "win" TW unless you devote all of your time to it, and play the game in shifts with someone else.
The top players on the server grew insanely fast from the start, and just never stopped.

If your city is nobled, you just start anew elsewhere. You can't get too emotionally invested in surviving long-term, at least that's my view of it. Eventually, someone's going to come for you. 🙂

No, you just need to play from work. When the new world opened up, I shot up to #1 and would fight with other atoter's for the spot. After my work blocked the website, I was losing hundreds of spots a day until I decided to abandon my city.

I'm getting pissed off at the game because the only time the #1 player on W23 likes to attack me is between 2:00am-6:00am when i'm sleeping.
 
I was #1 in ATOT for awhile, but I got bored after I nobled a few towns. It's super repetitive after you start to noble bitches.

He probably knows your time you sleep by using the tools available in that game.

Get other people to play for you with account sitting during that time, that's how you win in this game is to have the account played 24 / 7.

As for getting owned, welcome to this game DomS... :laugh:

Nah he's only attacked me a handful of times and LUCKILY i had just woke up to get ready for work to see attacks arriving in less than 30 mins. I dodged but it's still irritating.

He saw 800 swords, 800 spears and about 300 archers... I have around 4k of each there right now 🙂

Yeah I left that game too s long time ago. Any game where you just literally lose everything and start over from scratch just because someone wants you dead, is lame.

Funny, in ikariam we bitched and whined because you had no way of destroying your opponent. Can't have it both ways!

TW is basically diablo on hardcore mode.
