Can someone explain the triangle offense to me? I'm watching the Laker game right now and apparently, they are doing a terrible job w/ it.
 
the triangle is used in hockey also... all on one side of the ice (left or right of the net), 2 high and 1 down low beside the net, usually for give-and-go's because the guys high are rotating into a shooting position... I'd assume it's the same in basketball... minus the ice.

Nah, we use the ice too... makes for a killer home-court advantage when you're the only team that does 😛

If you don't know how it works, how do you know they're not doing it right?

BTW, I heard the playbook is 30 something pages. What a certain player does depends on the previous player's actions. I think Jason "Shotgun" Williams gave up on it when he was still playing and was thinking of coming to the Lakers.
