It all depends on if you want to go free or for a payed firewall/AV package, for free firewalls I would go with Kerio or Sygate ,free AV try Bitdefender free edition or AVG.

For payed AV try Panda or Bitdefender 8,(I`m using a firewall/AV combo by Bitdefender Pro 8).

AVG free edition AV.
 
Microsoft and Computer Associates teamed up and now you can get 1yr of CA eTrust Antivirus for free. It's definitely good software. Search M$ site for antivirus and you'll find a link to CA.

*small user review* This software is very nice, I like it a lot more than AVG and McAfee and it is about equal IMHO to Norton Corporate. For free it's an outstanding deal. It is now protecting my and my wife's computers.
