I've got some money set aside for some new monitors depending on wether or not Crysis supports a tri-monitor setup. Does it?

If it does, which I doubt very much, you'll need three GTX'es instead of one to run it.

What would three monitors do for you in a FPS besides provide for a headache?

Huh?

I don't think you'll need 3 cards. Can I have someone else back this?

I also play a lot of flight simulators and this would be a nice additive. (Currently have Q6600+8800GTX+4GB Ram)

You'd need at least 2 cards to run it (One dual-headed card using both outputs and a second using one port), and for a game like Crysis, they'd better both be at least 8800s. That video splitter you linked would just send the same exact picture to all of the monitors. If that's what you want, great, but I think you're wanting to have the picture span all 3 screens. This all assumes that the game actually supports it, which afaik, it doesn't.

all you need is one Card with the Matrix Tripple head to go,but have fun Maxing Crysis out @ 3840 x 1024 resolution.Tripple monitors are kool, but it makes your system obsolete too quick playing with 3 1280 x 1024 monitors.
