Tri-Graphics on ATX

Hi ..

This question is just for general knowledge as I'm not building a new system soon .. 😛

Are there Motherboads out there that can support Tripple Graphics cards (SLI or CF) and still maintain the ATX form factor without going to EATX ?

I checked ASUS ROG Series, the only one supports this is the 990FX Based .. All Intel Extreme ones are EATX sized ..

So If I get ATX Case with 7 slots, I wouldn't be able to use 6 slots for graphics because the motherbaords are too big ? Sounds unfair for me .. 😡
 
Found X79 Boards .. Seems the problem is lack of enough PCI lanes in main stream chipsets so the availability of 3 way is less ..
