Joel Schumacher should be banned from making movies.

Have not watched a movie starring Nick Cage after the one where he was a flaming skeleton man, don't plan on starting.

Nicolas Cage and Nicole Kidman, two of the largest current box office disasters...and they paired them together, lol.

Of all the strikes against this film, the fact that it's directed by Joel Schumacher is the one that would most concern me. Nick Cage is an eccentric and apparently willing to be in even the crappiest films, but at his best (Adaptation, Bad Lieutenant, Raising Arizona), he's just fantastic. In terms of innate talent I consider him one of the best working actors, but he's such a nut that he usually squanders it.

Okay, there are plenty of utterly shit movies that gross millions in profits.

It earned $16K because it only showed in 10 theaters.

So that has to be a failed ass marketing & logistics. When you combine two former mega stars, it's gonna do better than $16 fucking thousand, no matter how shitty they are now.

I still don't know why Schumacker wasn't locked away in a tower far from Hollywood after the disasters that were his Batman movies.

I used to hate Nic Cage, until I realized he takes himself less seriously than his most vehement critics or his biggest fans.

Between The Rock and The Weatherman, that's about as much replay value as you can get.

Schumacker hasn't made a good film since Lost Boys, and that wasn't great, just good.

I forgive Cage because I know he lost all his money to a bad investment deal(Madoff I think)

Wiki says that they did it on purpose so that it could be considered a low budget film by the US.

Nope. He is a compulsive spender and has to constantly crank out crap to pay his creditors. It's amazing how many sh*ty movies he's been in, really impressive in a sense.
