Can anyone recommend a good one for Undar $400? I ahve been doing some looking and I found a Weslo Cadence C44 for $299.99.

The selling points on this according to them anyway is
Three-position incline helps to get your heart rate up
Easy adjustments to 3%, 6% and 9% inclines
Locks in place for stability and consistency
Powerful 2.25-hp motor sustain speeds up to 10 mph
Display provides motivation and analysis throughout workout
Extra-large LCD display monitors speed, time, distance, calories and fat calories burned
Durable and comfortable 16in x 47in tread belt is designed for long life
Patented, revolutionary design allows treadmill to fold vertically for storage

Anyone have any advice on a good treadmill?

I find my 20" belt a little on the narrow side at times. I tend to float a bit when running and find myself coming close to the edges every now and then. With having an even narrower belt I'd hurt myself.

Also also suggest looking for a quality used one for that price. Brand new you will get nothing but garbage.

Exercise equipment is very true to the phrase - you get what you pay for. Within reason. The difference between a $400 and $1000 treadmill IS HUGE. Especially with the fold up ones. I absolutely would not recommend buying a cheap (and $400 is cheap) fold up tread mill for anything more than very light walking. If you run on it you'll be wobbling all over the place and it'll be destroyed in no time flat.

If you are going that cheap, look at a non-folding one. They'll be sturdier.

Also, what is your height/weight?
