Is anyone using any of the miniITX cases made by Travla?? I'm about to order up some/one to play around with making some tiny systems. I'm looking at the C137-90W for a set-top box, and possibly one of the real tiny ones for a micro-server...

Post up you have experience with this brand/line of cases...

I'm thinking of using a laptop size hard drive in my case. Since you can get those up to 100GB now, for not a ton of money, it's a good option. Once I do at least one of these builds, I'm going to try hooking up with a local performance shop (does vehicle alterations and such) to see about providing systems for them. With the Via boards, you can get the regulators that will kill all power to the board when the ignition is off (to save battery life). It's either that, or install a secondary battery to feed the computer, but also have it charging off of the main electrical system. That can probably be done, so it would make for a bit longer run time before shutting down (after the ignition is off). With PCI cards now a real option, we could even install a bluetooth module. OR, use one of the internal USB headers to feed a bluetooth adapter. That would make it self contained and allow the use of a BT keyboard and mouse, as well as other items, with the system. I can see a lot of possible uses for the computer.

I'd like to build a rig with the C134 but it doesn't look like the only US reseller wants to sell the case by itself. I already have a source (or have) all the other items, so I just need some cases to test the different configurations with. If they won't sell it by itself, then I'll go with a Molex 3688 case (can get it for less money). I sent an email to the reseller (of the Travla cases) to see if I can get just the case. If not, then I'll get the other one and work with it. I would like to use the Travla, but I need to be able to do the configuring myself. Partially due to needing to be able to install the board that I can get that would be standard for all. The reseller doesn't offer the board I'm looking to use for that case (really sucks that way)...
