I dont eat McDonalds much at all anymore, mostly due to the fact I dont want to become one of those people that sue fast food industries because they're too fat, but also because it's expensive after a while. All that fas food ads up people! $7 for dinner is not cheap!

Anyways, tonight my wife and I ended up running around quite a bit after work and noticed it was too late to go back and make something for dinner. So we opted for the fast route. Whenever I get McDonalds, I get the 10pc nuggets meal. My sauce of preferance has always been Honey. People think I'm weird, but I just love honey on me nuggets.

"Would you like any sauce with that sir?"
"Yes, honey please."
"I'm sorry, we've discontinued honey."

Damn are you serious???? I always got honey for my nuggets too.

Fvck, I hope that's just your franchise and not corporate-wide.

Ewww honey?

Anyways, that's odd that they discontinued honey... some people prefer that on their pancakes and waffles than syrup.

There's a honey sauce??!!!! Since when???!! Is this a regional thing cause I have ONLY seen Barbecue and Sweet N' Sour sauces.

Now the true travesty is that McDonalds doesn't have the McRibs on their menu all year round.

I remember when they first came out with honey too, I use to grab a handful everytime and ask for more.

It's good when mixed with water. I called it honey drink.

Guess I won't be having nuggets anymore, however my gut instinct is this is a not a franchise wise decision.

Pfft, forget you. You can't even taste the chicken with the BBQ sauce. Sweet and Sour is the way to be.

He meant honey as in pure honey.
Its not discontinued, they just choose not to order them.
The main issue is that while the regular sauces cost about 4cents each, each honey is about 9cents and they're smaller which means people will ask for more.
So if you're ordering a 10piece. instead of the usual 2-3 sauces, it'll be 4-5 honeys
45cents condiments as oppose to under 10cents is a big deal.

I must admit, when I had my own store, I never ordered honeys either

Learn the $1 menu. 2 McChicken, 2 Mac Jr's, fries, and a drink is just $6+tax. ;)

Usually when I ask for honey with my nuggets they give me honey mustard anyway. Then when I ask them for honey they say they don't have any. Then when I remind them that they have honey for people who order tea, they remember and sometimes give me some.

Honey on chicken nuggets

Yes and we all know keeping your customers happy is less important than a .00000001% reduction in profits.

??? When did they start putting chicken in those thing? I know they just switched from dark to white cartilage, but actual chicken? no way!

honey nuggets are good...in fact, when we had chicken nuggets during our school lunches they even had honey out for everyone to use
