Ok, I will be soon traveling to some countries and need a warm fuzzy to confirm my analysis of my situation:

I want to use my dell laptop and juke box player both of which have power bricks that do 100-240V 50-60HZ, I understand this to cover pretty much any country (N. America 110V/60HZ, rest of world 220-240/50HZ). I also have a Benq 6100 projector on the way that I don't know what it takes, but glancing at an Infocus X1A projector I have in my posession it states 100V 300Watt 50/60HZ on the label. I can't tell if this piece of equipment will need a converter. It doesn't say input or output on the label, its all in some asian script other than the numbers. I am in the US, and it works fine on the wall outlet, which is 110V. Online Specs from infocus say 100-240 50/60hz, so I guess from it working in my wall at 110 the online specs should be correct??

Also, wattage might be an issue, the projector looks to draw about 300watts, do projectors spike like a CRT with they turn on? Its a DLP projector if that would help. The most that would be plugged in is the Laptop and Projector, which should be about 400 watts, I assume continous. So a 500 watt step down transformer should be good if the projector doesn't spike much?

Do I have everything figured correctly?
