traveling and gifts ,help?

I'm flying to Cali for Xmas, can I wrap my gifts for carry on or must they be unwrapped? what about baggage that gets checked in? help ?

i would leave them unwrapped cause of post 9-11 security. just take the materials and wrap them when you get to Cali.

I second this, just read an article in Seattle Times suggesting it. Don't put the scissors in your carryon though!

If time is a problem you can always mail the gifts and threaten mayhem if they unwrap before you get there
