Travel question (airlines)

Usually when I need to travel with a razor I always check my bag. However, tomorrow I am flying to Kansas for two days and don't want to check my bag since everything I need to bring is small enough to fit in a carry on. My question is: can you have a razor (ie Mach 3) in your carry on?

No. Leave it at home and buy a cheap razor in Kansas to use for two days.

I don't think you can. This is all so stupid like you are gonna do something with a blade you can't even hold properly.

Just carry a cheap disposable one, just in case it gets confiscated.

Figured that was problably my best bet. Of course, the hotel should provide me with on anyways.

Similar thought the other day about this... we had to take stuff out of our checked bag (weight limit) so we took out the bathroom-stuff bag for carry-on... luckily my wife didn't pack her razor (no, for her legs) - I'm guessing it would've been confiscated at the scanner...

Mach3 razor is acceptable. I've never had a razor confiscated, and I fly about 2-3 times a month.

Safety razors are ok. Straight razors are not.

I always bring a razor in my carry-on.

Or get an electric razor for traveling. They don't confiscate those as you can't really use them to cut someone...
