Trash Can full of Maggots

I have a trashcan with a hole in the lid. My roommates and I left it outside and rain water collected in it along with the trash that's probably been sitting there all winter...

I don't want to put it curb side and have maggots fall onto the garbage men.

What should I do with it?

Or just dump bleach all over it and throw all the trash bags into second bags. Hose out the trash can and bleach again.

Trash Can Full of Maggots! Yeah!

I saw them play the Fillmore East with Pusdrinker and Bloodclot Holiday way back when. Awesome show, they played 4 or 5 encores.
