Transparent folder/file redirection

Hi,

is it possible in Windows 7 to have let's say folder Temp on drive C:, then have some files and folders in folder Temp2 on drive D: and make those files from Temp2 show up in C:\Temp (without those files being physically there)?

Thanks

Microsoft does not support static or dynamic file linking. The closest thing they have to it is a library.

You can use junctions to make folders appear in other folders. Not sure about anything similar for making files appear in 2+ locations when you're not linking the entire folder.

Thanks everybody for the help.

Blinky - extra thanks, junctions are exactly what I needed. They work absolutely great.

Note that Vista and later also support symbolic links if you're familiar with those.
