Hi there, I need to scan transparencys (this little pictures inside a frame). Wich features does the scanner to have? A minimum amount of DPIS? Ive heard that there are special scanners for transparencys, wich have two lights, or something like that.

Greetings from Chile

There are several scanners that come with the capabilityto do transparencies. That normally requires the removal of the white pad from the lid so that the light tube under it can shine down through the slides on to the sensor array. There are masks or matrices to hold the slides (different sizes, i.e., 35mm, 2 1/4 x 2 1/4, and later, and film strips).

I have had very good success with the Epson Perfection Photo series.
