Does anyone have any recent details for the Transmetta processors? They are supposed to be the most power efficient and I was looking into buying a laptop that implements them.
 
yeah... if you truely want a laptop with some good power consumption... look at the Pentium M or Celeron... the Transmetta processors actually "emulate" x86 instructions which make them really really slow.
