I gotta get some glasses. Staring at my monitor for multiple hours every day has finally caught up to me.
Those transitions lenses that turn dark when you're outside seem pretty nifty, but I wonder if they have more cons than pros. I've read they take a long time to turn back to normal from being dark (or maybe it was vice versa) but that was an old article for 4 or 5 years ago, so maybe they're better now? Also read they don't work while you're in a car, so that's a big negative.
Do they just offer UV protection or is it possible they can be polarized?
I'd be better off wearing contacts + my normal sunglasses I'm sure. That would make a lot of sense. Buuuut, I hate dealing with contacts. I just can't get those bastards in, my eyes are just too sensitive.
