Transient sharp pain, HELP!

every once and a while when I stand up, a sharp pain shoots from my belly button and seemingly down the length of my urethra? It is painful enough to force me to have to sit down. Any once else experience this sort of thing? It goes away if I chill for a bit.
 
your going to die 😛..just joking but go have it checked out.

I just got out of the hospital from putting off having a bad stomac ache checked out. I thought it was just something I ate and it would go away 12 hrs later I couldn't take it anymore and went to the hospital. turned out an ulcer burned thru in my small inestines and my entire gut was full of gas and acid :Q

thankfully everything is good now
 
agreed.. hernia dude. try coughing and see if it is worse.. or strain like you're shitting.. if the pain gets worse, you got a hernia.
 
The mention of pain from your belly down your urethra made me cringe.

Get it checked out posthaste.
 
Get it checked. And if it's a hernia, you'll know, I've had two. You'll see/feel a bulge above your nether-regions, and if it gets really bad you'll literally be able to feel your intestine in your sack. Not good stuff, but fixable.

It may not be a hernia though. When I had mine they didn't hurt at all really. Only reason I knew I had it was from the bulge.
 
i get those about 2-3x a year. they are really painful when they happen but it is over within about 10 seconds. have gotten them all my life.
 
i was thinking bladder infection

either that or

An Alien is going to rip out of your stomach and flop down and out onto the ground and will hunt the rest of your family and eat them.

I vote for urinary tract infection, don't beat the meat with dirty hands. That will help reduce the occurrance. Also wrap it before you tap it, and make sure you aren't reacting to spermicide or something.

I was thinking the same thing, definitely not a kidney stone.

 
I can scratch a part of my bellybutton to make the same sort of pain happen. Not that I do it often or anything, haha.

There must be a nerve that goes down to your urethra that passes through there..my guess is yours gets pinched?
