It sort of does. By discussing it here you are enabling the nature of the OP. If a white supremacist has a valid point about something race I am certainly not going to discuss it with him either way!
Anyway, lets do it then. Anyone who feels transgenders should get to compete in the class they identify with, raise your hands... Lets see all these hippie liberals destroying society with their fluid gender crap... lets count some hands... What is that? Zero? Noone? Omg. PLOT TWIST!!!
I can see your point, but I don't really think UC is a concern troll. He is obviously conservative, so his threads have a conservative slat and he misses his own hypocrisy on several topics, but that doesn't make him a concern troll. The "Poor Bernie" crap was concern trolling.

As far as the second point, there are quite a few people on this forum that have indicated that they think transgendered people should be able to compete against the gender they identify with. And obviously, many states are allowing it.

Yea, if one reads the entire article, another transgender athlete makes a good case for basing competition on hormone levels. That at least makes some sense. Personally, at least in athletics, I think the category should be determined by ones genetic makeup.

I think women's sports should be cis-women only. The problem with allowing transgender women (male to female) compete in female athletics is even if they currently have women levels of hormones they still had testosterone when maturing and the male body structure, both of which give a big competitive advantage.

Personally, I think men's sports should be open to everyone, but women's cis only.

Women's sports will be dominated by transgender competitors. I have no issue with that at all. It's what we've worked towards, what we want. This is equality, this is people expressing who they really are. We should celebrate.
I think sports is also the one area where some people will do literally anything to win and there will be some men that will change just to win in the women's leagues. I personally don't understand that mentality but it exists. I know kids that were taking 'roids in middle school. Lance Armstrong gave himself cancer and lost a nut cheating, then immediately started cheating again. There are many high schoolers that develop eating disorders to compete better in track or wrestling.

It will be FUCKING BEAUTIFUL and glorious because you will see the LGTBBQ group clash with the Womens Rights Me Too movements.

Turning them against each other would be rather comical - I can also guarantee you that will be what happens if they actually do let this shit continue.

Not all women or feminists are for this, google TERFs

I'm sure there are - I'm just saying all of the ones that touted trans rights will have their mouths meet their foot when their daughter is getting bashed over the fucking head and getting KO'd in 2 minutes.

That's why the olympics is overall stupid, it's more of "who is the best person within your closest bloodline"

It's no coincidence that every running is pretty much nothing but Africans, and swimming is pretty much nothing but white people.
Still pissed Jessie won, Adolf??

It’s not hurting anyone and it doesn’t affect me so it’s OK.

Jump just a bit faster and higher and you might catch the point next time.

Jessie and Adolf in the context of the Olympics is your clue.
You actually expect UC to have brains and an awareness of history?? Lower your standards.

My general position on this stuff is
1) life is generally unfair. Yes some girls are basically racing against guys. But in the rest of life you and I are basically competing against people who are smarter, richer, more connected, luckier, better looking, healthier, etc etc etc. Life is unfair across the board. These girls can learn it in high school because they sure as hell will be dealing with it for the rest of their lives
2) I never really understood why in sports we separate the sexes anyway
3) Sports are entirely meaningless and a plague on society

Then just get rid of girls sports. Tell girls that they will never been good enough to win and have them lose out on the benefits of athletics.

2) I never really understood why in sports we separate the sexes anyway
Because in the vast majority of sports the male body in a massive advantage. Mediocre pro men can beat the absolute elite women in nearly every sport. So we as a society have decided that woman/girls should be allowed to have a chance to compete in sports and have therefore split the leagues by sex.

3) Sports are entirely meaningless and a plague on society
You may have a point for pro or NCAA level, but there are a lot of benefits to athletics during childhood, which is why elite private schools all have sports programs.

I am for mixed sports and throwing away male/female divisions. I suspect women/men after two generations will average a 50/50 percent win margin. With the outcome that neither sex is especially good at sports, if they achieve equal investment and positivity.

Male/female strength, endurance, and body type are too fluid to be accredited as absolute evidence that either is the most successful. Average males are weakening, this means the pool for Olympic males are shrinking. While, the average female are strengthening, meaning the pool for Olympic females is growing. With heavier demand for mixed sports, the ideal outcome is that human body type, strength, endurance will equalize between the sexes over iterative generations.

Mountain bike racing faced this issue maybe 20 years ago with a post-surg. trans. She was killing local and regional races. Lawsuits ensued, which were lost by the other competing girls who were consistently losing. The post-surg girl continued to dominate until she began entering national competitions which included the real pros, like Missy "The Missle" Giove. The trans girl got her ass handed to her, over and over. She, the post-surg trans girl, disappeared back into the mists from which she came and was really never heard from again, at least nationally.

My opinion is that we take sports too fucking seriously! Is who can run faster than who a big deal? Should it be and why?

Don't cite any facts or anything with your wild accusations. As @Zorba stated above, even the most mediocre men will crush the shit out the best women in the majority of sports. It's absolute nonsense to suggest otherwise. No matter how many stupid pro women "Were powerful!" commercials you've seen, the facts will crush them at the end of the day.

But hey - if you like seeing women get beat the fuck senseless - I guess I don't have a problem with it.

Also I really hope my sarcasm meter is broken.

UC is obviously a concern troll, we know that, but admittedly.. I'm not sure that I've formulated a firm position on the topic in the OP myself.

Pretty much me.

I get the point that this doesn’t sound fair and I get the point if we project or if what is decided to be a woman extends a bit more we could see many women’s sport college scholarships go to people we may not consider women.
I get his point but I also think let’s deal with that problem if or when it arrives.

**I had similar feelings about gay marriage 20 years ago. Feared people would “scam” it for tax breaks and cheaper insurance.
That hasn’t happened and if someone is scamming it to get cheaper insurance at this point I’m all for it. Fuck the health insurance industry.

Part 2:
This site isn’t mobile friendly and it is over the top but I remember reading about this fight. Transgender mma fighter, She beat the shit out of her opponent. Other fighter said she had never faced such power before, I think her skull was fractured.
Now we are into the safety realm. I really don’t know how to feel about this.

It would be more interesting and get a way bigger viewing audience than 99% of other “all female” sports where no one cares outside the parents of the girls who play them.
