Transforming 2d image into 3d

Microsoft has photo software in development that will do this at the consumer level. Might be based on the same technology.
 
Personally, I'm mostly wondering how you could infer that "Transforming a 2d image into 3d" would be NSFW.

that's exactly what i was thinking. you give the program pics of 2 or more angles and i can create a 3D world from that.
