Will it suck? yes.

will i go see it? hell yes. i will also buy the DVD and propably some toys.

i dont think the movie itself will. I think the only thing bad about it will be fans hating it not being completely true to the original storylines and characters.
but as a 'never played with a transformer or watched a transformer movie/cartoon in my life' type of person, I am looking forward to the action of the movie. :) I trust Michael Bay for that. And I have loved every movie I have watched of his.

You know, they almost had to update the vehicles. If they didn't, it would be like the 1985 series being made up of cars from 1965. Everyone would wonder why all the cars are so old.

I think they pretty much do that with all movies based on comic books and/or cartoons. For example Spiderman. I think in the comic books the spider that bit Parker was irradiated instead of being genetically altered in the movie. It's just to make the movies more updated with the current moviegoers.

Yeah, genetics is in, as people just associate radiation with cancer now. The one thing they did screw up though is that spiders shoot web from their abdomen, not their legs. If they went the genetic route, Peter should have been shooting web from his ass.

I don't think that's from the actual movie. Doesn't look the slightest bit real

These are the designs the movie toys are supposed to be based off of.

Unless Bay and Co. are pulling everybody's legs be intentionally leaking incorrect pictures.

I imagine that would make travel through downtown manhattan a little harder.
